Chateau Jean-Pierre Gaussein Rouge (Red)

Terroir : the domain is essentially located on the hillsides of La Cadière d'Azur. 80% of the production are Mourvèdre grapes, i.e. 100,000 bottles per year of which a great part is exported all over the world. Full-fledged winegrowers for nearly 40 years, Jean-Pierre and Julia Gaussein always sold their wines directly, from 1962 to 1998 under the name of « Domaine de la Noblesse » and then from 1999 on under the name of Jean-Pierre Gaussein.
Cepage : Mourvèdre 80%, Cinsault 5%, Grenache 15%
Garde : 10 years.
Degustation : Tannic and powerful red wines with an exceptional shelf-life.
Proposed side-dish : game and spicy meats.
